Procedures:

Minimal to moderate
None in patients with no sensitivity
Scars:
Depend on the size and location of the pressure sores and the elected procedure for reconstruction
Recovery
Most cases will require in-patient care for some days
It is of outmost importance to maintain a position that does not put pressure on the wounds for, at least, six weeks after surgery
Typically, drains will be used for one or two weeks after surgery
t is possible that more than one procedure is needed to completely close a pressure sore
